“My name is Justice and I was in the foster care system for 5 years. Throughout that time, I was introduced to the LHFF and went on four of the fishing trips. These trips were like the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, we were in foster care but on the fishing trip it didn’t feel like we were foster kids, to me at least. We were just kids who got to experience deep sea fishing. We could forget about all of our problems and the difficult times we went through and will continue to go through, we got to just have fun and meet new people. Every time I went I always had a blast! The LHFF made my time in the foster care system so much better, even if the trip was only four days out of the year. It is a foundation run by amazing people and kind volunteers who actually care about us. Thank you for giving me so many good memories! ”
